Pillar II
The whole community benefits when more working individuals and families are able to stop walking a financial tightrope and get on solid ground. That’s why we focus on lasting solutions that go beyond charity because financially stable people are more likely to have access to quality healthcare, provide a good education for their children, and contribute to their local economies.
financial stability for all
The United Way of the Pennyrile is committed to programs that ensure every resident is able to get on level-footing in our communities and be productive members. Investing in education and in health are means to guarantee this happens. We also recognize help is needed occasionally, which is why we fund Crisis Relief through Aaron McNeil House, the Homeless Shelter at the Salvation Army, the incentive program by Christian County Youth Services, and requests from Trace Industries.
